I've loved tobacco in every form — cigarettes, hand-rolled tobacco, snuff, chewing tobacco, cigarillos, and cigars — but it was the e-cigarette, or vape, that ultimately captivated me the most.
With its bold, expressive hardware and its rich, wide-ranging flavors, vaping offers a freedom that lets like-minded enthusiasts connect and enjoy the experience together.
My enduring passion is vaping, and MK Lab will keep exploring so that everyone can share in that experience.
Born in 1978 in Okinawa, Japan.
Discovered e-cigarettes in 2007 and was instantly captivated by their appeal.
In 2011, encountered what would become the prototype of today's vape devices, and began expanding his activities internationally.
Began blending and developing e-liquids in 2012.
In 2013, experimented with countless blends while collecting e-liquids and devices from around the world as a hobby.
The original liquid that would later become the prototype for the MKVape brand was also developed during this period.
Launched full-scale sales of the MKVape brand in 2014, starting both wholesale operations and an e-commerce store.
From 2015 to the present, he has worked as one of Japan's leading e-liquid blenders, developing liquids and providing vape-related consulting.
Organized Japan's first vape-only event, "Den'en Kukan" (電煙空間), in April 2014.
Featured in The Asahi Shimbun as one of the leading figures in Japan's vape scene (published May 15, 2014).
Interviewed as a "VAPE Master" on Fuji TV's news program Super News (aired May 27, 2014).
Served as emcee at JPV meet 2014, one of Japan's largest vape events.
Exhibited the vape industry's first booth at the DJ event "Re:Animation," held at Tokyo Joypolis.
Served as operations lead for JPV meet 2015, one of Japan's largest vape events.
Exhibited at vape events across Japan.
Advised on the launch of numerous vape shops nationwide.
